Ninety foot babe
I saw a few TV commercials this evening that I found interesting. None of them explained anything about the product being advertised, but they all ended with text on the screen that read “No matter what happens, don’t flinch. To be continued.” So of course, I looked it up. What I found was this: Buddy Lee – Don’t Flinch.
The two I saw tonight were “Appliances” and “Centerfold”. They seem to be some sort of preview for the other ones: “Pretty Woman”, “Gawkers”, and “Hello”. What’s really interesting is the link to a fake weblog for the ninety foot babe. They even had her post about the upcoming commercials.
It really looks like they put some effort into this. I’m guessing that at least one person had a great time thinking all this up. Whoever did the weblog must have had fun too. And it’s just one error away from being valid XHTML 1.0.

Sometimes I wonder about the people who think up commercials. And I think I saw that commercial, maybe not that one, but it made no sesnse and ended with some quote on the screen.

I keep seeing those commercials too. It’s getting annoying, just continue the commercial already!!!! It almost freaks me out becuase I’m expecting to see something scary, like one of those websites where everything looks normal then something hideous pops up and scares the hell out of you.

I don’t watch enough TV to seem the commercials everybody else sees (e.g. I’ve only seen one and one half political ads yet this season), but last night Roxy pointed out to me that this post mentions TMBG. Awesome.

it doesn’t look like it took much effort at all. Presidental cadidates, chefs, businesspeople, and 13 yr old kids have weblogs. And the commercials are like any except they peak more curiousity. And the idea to peak the curiosity is in no way complex they introduced mystery…woooo.

I think 90 foot women are hot, and that commerical certainly made it more obvious. I’d date a 90 foot chick
